Christmas at Myriade
The Christmas Season has infiltrated Montreal and with that I feel the need to write a few words about what you will and won’t find at Myriade this December. Firstly, the more recent visitors among you will have noticed a new Myriade Espresso to replace the competition blend; the timely named Christmas Espresso. 49th has roasted a blend of Costa Rican and Brazilian Coffees that will be available for the next three and a half weeks. It’s a little less front-heavy on the chocolate notes that the Competition Blend, but offers more complexity and lingering flavours of cherry and red wine. There is a less than zero chance that this stays on offer in the New Year, but I have plans for a replacement Myriade Espresso already.
There will be an official Christmas Album for the cafe (A Charlie Brown Christmas), and aside from its occasional surfacing we will not inundate you with christmas music. I promise.
I’ll post our Christmas hours soon, but at the time of this writing it appears we will be open for limited daily hours between Christmas and New Years’.
