Guest Roaster: Intelligentsia at Cafe Myriade
We received four different coffees from Intelligentsia today for service and retail and are currently brewing their organic Yirgacheffe from Ethiopia as our coffee of the day. We’re carrying two Ethiopians, an El Salvadorian Cup of Excellence offering, and the venerable Black Cat espresso blend. We’ll be featuring Intelligentsia for a limited time, come try it while you can.
Lisa and I had some Intelligentsia iced coffee in Chicago this summer. Good but not amazing. Not *nearly* as enjoyable as a Myriade iced latte. The mugs they sold, on the other hand, were awesome (where is the Myriade merch?). Anyway, we bought a bag to take home and never really enjoyed it. Not like the 49th Parallel blends.
